I have currently got Swiftkey loaded as my keyboard as I prefer it over stock. What other suggestions are there?

Stock. Tried SwifKey & others. Too many issues. Faster with stock.
Basically the same for the same reasons. I do wish that something like swiping/gliding was available using the stock keyboard and perhaps the cursor control that Gboard offers (not counting 3D Touch capable devices that already provide that anyway), but despite those temptations I still end up going with the stock keyboard partially because of speed, partially because of less glitches, partially because of dictation, and partially because of habit and being more used to it (and thus better with it) by now.

Until Apple joins 2012 and adds swipe/gesture input, I have to look elsewhere. Currently using MS Word Flow w/o full access.

Hi Will.

When I try to use stock keyboard for typing anything on safari browser's address tab, the predictive text is off.

How are you using predictive text in this case? Any ideas on how to turn this on?

It's because of this missing feature that I have had to use swift key :/

Advanced thanks for any help/tips from anyone....

Check attached screenshot.

Gboard. I can type almost as fast on Gboard as I can on a physical keyboard, and the predictive type/spell on it is just incredible. My 82 year old mother is now using it as well, and for the first time, we're not waiting an hour for her to type a short text!

Go to your Notes app and try it there. That's simply a shortcut for Settings>General>Keyboard>Predictive text.

Predictive text simply isn't available in the Safari search bar. It's not a part of the OS.

This has also been answered previously in another thread here: #15

Not a software keyboard, but the Brydge Air Pro is such a nice keyboard for the iPad.

As far as software keyboards, I'm content with the default. I found that other keyboards in the app-store lag a lot more. Maybe this has been fixed? I'm using an iPhone 6s.
