What kind of screens do the new Imacs have? The old ones had TN for the 20" and IPS for the 24" ones. Does that still hold? I'm wondering if the cheapest 24" still has an IPS screen, or if they've given the 20" ones anything better than TN.

No one seems to know I guess thats why no replies. Check the thread 'Imac 3.06' someone explained to me in that thread.

Does anyone know now? I've seen threads about people getting the new iMacs. If they're available for purchase or in the stores, it isn't hard to see what kind of screens they have.

If the $1500 24" iMac has the same IPS screen as the old 24" ones, that's a pretty good deal.

An even better deal is the 24" 2.4GHz that I just got from the refurb store for $1049 (with the 2600 PRO video card). I added 4GB memory for $36.

It's still the same. :)
