I have a 24 inch imac. I dont have a sd slot like the new 27 inch imacs. My question is, what type of sd car reader should I buy? I heard sandisk is a good brand, will they be compatible with my imac? Also please tell me what i should look for regarding compatibility, is it usb 2.0? thanks

here are the readers I am looking at the moment, please tell me which will be compatible.

1.SanDisk ImageMate® Multi-Card USB 2.0 Reader
2.SanDisk ImageMate® All-in-One USB 2.0 Reader
3. SanDisk Extreme® 2.0 USB Readers

When I bought my SD card reader (Sandisk MicroMate SD / SDHC Memory Card Reader, SDDR-113), people told me (maybe on here  ) that there are numerous "sub-models" of all these devices, and they don't perform the same. When I bought the SDDR-113, I think there were four or five versions of it being sold simultaneously. FWIW that device, at least the copy I got, works just fine, although it's an SD/SDHC-only device.
