what kinda fonts are compatible with flash ?

i really needed this specific font , which i found thank god , called avenir , which i was totally stoked about . ( it was in one of those adobe font packages ) but it doesnt show up in flash ? is it in some format that flash wont recognize ? any ideas ?

Did you put it down as a dynamic text field? If it is, you have to remember to embedded the fonts into the text field.

This is simply an issue of Flash not playing nice with certain kinds of fonts. Some fonts, and some entire font families are simply not flash compatible. I happen to know that Avenir is one of those fonts.

Massive pain in the butt if you have a client with a specific brand that they need to have a specific font with.... but such is life...
