I really like the idea of having a case that you dont have to remove everytime you use the computer. But all cases ive found are so damn expensive... :(

Ive only found two book cases for the 11.6" model:

PDAIR: http://cgi.ebay.com/Croco-Black-Lea...803?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item35add31de3

BAO:
http://cgi.ebay.com/BAO-Leather-Sle...503?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3a6287f16f

The pdair looks nicer, but i do like how the BAO doesnt cover up the palm rest. Palmrest covers irritate me when using lower keys...

Ps. I know theres a sleeve thread, but this is another category...

can't believe there are no more of these out yet, months after the air's been released... no offense but all the three mentioned here look absolutely rubbish, leather pads right next to the trackpad, a huge asymmetrical leather flap on top on the other case, and a glossy cheap handbag leather on the third..ughhh... I would gladly starve as soon as vaja come up with their $300 offerings to get one instead of these, but why is everyone taking so long to come up with something to fit the air aesthetically? These are all so horrible looking...

Agree, tough i think the first(pdair croc) is kind off nice, except for the leather palmrest. But it isnt worth 100$, not nice enough.

It seems like the only option is to get a custom made leather case, maybe those places that makes custom leather accessories to motorcycles could be an option.

strange though isn't it, I mean the ipad market was flooded with all sorts of leather cases very soon, and the air which has been selling pretty well by all accounts has almost no options...because of course you cant expect ipad no. of cases, but almost none?

I got the PDair for now and like it. But I am waiting for the vaja 11" to come out. If it's a folio type case like my vaja iPad one I will order it the day it comes out.

Ive had the case now for two weeks and love it! Just what i wanted, a leather case to have on my MBA at all times. And the wonderful magnetic flap that wraps around the top of the screen, the thin that PDAir doesnt have.

Some pics(not that good, I can take some pictures with my DSLR if anybody wnats):
