Hi guys
I need to get a mac quickly as I have found out the back up computer which had to be used last week was of no use whatsoever!
I am using a mac-mini as my main computer , 2.53 Ghz Intel core 2 duo. Now I have the offer of buying another of these new, I really like this model, the other option is to go with the the new mini -mac with Lion OSX.
The mac mini I am using at the moment is hooked up to a 22" Eizo monitor and a 17" Acer monitor which I use just for my photoshop palettes. Will I be able to have exactly the same configuration with this new Mac -mini , that is the 2 monitors, or not.
I might add that that whatever I choose will just have one programme put in it , Photoshop CS4 and the computer will be used only for that .
Finally , I am not that impressed with what I am reading about this ' MacBook Air Superdrive at all, this will be necessary for me with the new Mac -mini

If you don't want the power of the new core i's that don't have optical drives built in, you can get last years Mac Mini with a 2.4ghz core2duo refurb from Apple for 469 right now with optical drive:

http://store.apple.com/us/product/FC270LL/A

or you can get the Coreduo 2.66ghz with optical from apple for 549:

Neither has the processing power of the i5/i7's but you still have a built in optical.

Edit: Be quick though, they will go out of stock fast (at least the 469 model).

The middle model will do what you need.
