Oh! HAHA, when I came in here the poll wasn't loaded or up yet, sorry to jump on here so quick and make comments in haste. You're right mac2be, this is way more detailed.
Too bad the poll options are incorrect. The large HDD option on the 17" is 250GB not 200GB. Therefore, I cannot answer this poll.

I would have stopped at the 3 different models, but obviously you have much time on your hands.
I voted for the standard 15" 2.2 glossy. I would have got the larger HD, but alas I didn't want to wait nor did I think I would really need it. Now I want the bigger HD even though I have a quarter terabyte external.

Actually,I'm ordering tonight/tomorrow just checking on one thing about an EDU discount - my sister is in college, would give her the "free" Nano as a birthday present, want to make sure it would work if i order it in her name then registered it to me..so if anybody knows if that is ok let me know...otherwise I'm ordering through my company discount page.
It's as good as ordered
Oh I went with Matte b/c of cleaning reasons, and I want the biggest HD w/o slowing down the rpm but don't want to wait for the 7200 for a month.
Guess I should change my sig...changed my mind in the last week between a 20" iMac and a MBP described above.

There is no problem if the person who purchased and the register are not the same. What if your sister bought the laptop as a gift for you?
17" Matte high Res. I'll be getting a 4GB RAM kit from a reseller sometime after I actually get my laptop. *crosses his fingers for tomorrow*
