I've got a few things I can't wait to get on there:

1. The four Futurama seasons and movies. This show is like a favorite album - I can re-watch it over and over and never get tired of it. The movies, for me, were 'meh,' though.

2. While I've got seasons 3 - 12 of The Simpsons, I think I'm going to put together a 'Best of' collection and put that on the iPad.

3. Some movies with replay value (for me)- Aliens, Predator, Fight Club, Sunshine, etc.

4. Maybe 10 of my favorite albums.

The rest will be used for app space, documents, and iBooks.

I'm curious to see what media you all want to have ready to go with your iPad.

Very little music, maybe several favorite albums but not a whole lot in terms of file space.

A few movies/TV shows, haven't determined which yet. I'll also subscribe to some podcasts.

The rest will be apps and e-books.

Season 1 of 30 Rock, probably all fifteen of my movies, a "best of" playlist of music, and maybe my TechStuff podcast (HIGHLY recommend it).
Sunshine is a tight movie by the way. I saw it for the first time Friday night :)

What is going on the ipad..

7.2 gigs of music

Star Trek (1979)
Star Trek (2009)

3.2 gigs of photos

IF the Kindle app is ready on day one
35 e-books (Posleen War, Ghost, Looking Glass, and Starfist series)

Civilization Evolution
MW2 Application
Paper Toss

hmm....that's all I can think of off the top of my head..:)

I love Sunshine! Such an awesome, heavy movie. Not for everyone, but it fits my tastes perfectly!

I'm excited for the Kindle App as well. I've been holding off on reading books I've been interested in, waiting for the iPad. About to take my first real step into reading Fantasy with 'A Game of Thrones.'

2001: A Space Odyssey

The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders From Mars

EndGame: Blueprint for Global Enslavement by Alex Jones

I'll get a slingbox and use it to watch my DVR on the iPad when i've got downtime at work. Probably will download music videos i've worked on as well to show other people but that's about it.

I can't wait to try out my slingbox on the iPad!

I'll also be looking through the bookstore asap, as well as loading all of my music and some movies.

I'm excited to try out watching a movie or tv show on the treadmill.

First a Bible app. I've always tried to do that.

Second the biggest baddest Augmented Reality app I can find even if I have no actual use for it. They facinate me on the iPhone and I've got to see one on the iPad. Theodolite on the iPhone would be awesome on the iPad, but I don't know if they have a version of it out yet for the iPad.

Er, um, so isn't the point of augmented reality apps that you have a camera?

no music will be going on my iPad. Thats what my iPhone and Macbook Pro is for. i think the first media to go on my iPad is a book from the book store

Hands down, Terminator 2 ... every single new device I get that is capable of watching movies, I just HAVE to watch it on it.

Everything from laptop, desktop, TV, PSP, PS2, PS3, iPhone, iPod, Palms, etc etc.

Its crazy, I know :D

This isn't my main iPod, so I might throw 20 or so of my favorite songs on there, just if I wanna listen to music while doing something.

I'll definitely throw a bunch of important photos on the device - MAYBE a movie or two, certainly no more than that. (16 gig limit, ya know...)

This is primarily for apps and eBooks.
