I need some advice from the experts

I connect my Mac Book pro to an external 27 monitor.

At the moment I connect to my former gaming monitor IPS, its Asus PG279Q ( a great gaming IPS monitor)

Is that ok, or would I get a better picture with a Dell 27" LED UltraSharp U2715H

If not – I just keep my Asus PG279Q

If those are your two choices, stick with what you have. They only do 99-100% of the sRGB color space, so not good for Photoshop nor video grading. Of course if you gave details about your MacBook Pro, we could determine if it could drive a higher resolution display and if you declared what purposes you use the external display for, we could advise you better. If you are a gamer, are you using Windows/Boot Camp? If you like Dell and that resolution, then upgrade a tick to the UP2716D https://www.dell.com/en-us/work/sho...16d/apd/210-AGGP/monitors-monitor-accessories

I have a MacBook Pro 13 retina mid 2014 :)

I only use the screen for ordinary home stuff. No playing, no photo work. Just a home computer :)
