What Music/Movies Will You Put On Your iPhone?

Since we only have 8GB to play with, what kinds of music and movies will you guys be loading onto your iPhone? I don't mind switching out music and movies, so I always have something new on the phone. For sure I will be putting on some Maroon 5, Matchbox Twenty and whatever else I listen to a lot.

We are getting so close and I can't wait!:D

the movie wargames got me into computers so i'm gonna put that one on as well.
 
a good amount of underground hip hop...

and the rest i will periodically change to whatever i've been listening to recently....

does anyone know if the ipod car adapters will work with the iphone or not? the ones that have a direct wire connection..not the fm transmitters
 
definitely some chiodos, hellogoodbye, episodes of the office, all my music videos, and probably some homemade movies of waterskiing, so i can show them off. i will probably set it up to sync my most played playlist and my top rated playlist so that all my best songs are on it

most played / top rated is a good idea that I think i'll borrow...

other than that, i general mix of songs that are currently on my shuffle (everything from h-town rap to dispatch), a bunch of House MD episodes, maybe some family guy, and for movies I'll switch between rudy, remember the titans, the departed, the count of monte cristo, wedding crashers... really just about anything I can rip onto my computer.
 
yeah family guy is a must. i also have waiting, and 40 yr old virgin that i might throw on there. but the playlists are a must, because then it always changes with the music you are listening to then
 
Movies

Well, i hope to fit some of my movie collection on it, even though i don't have that many horror movies. Um... deffinitely "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" and "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning", possibly the "Saw" trilogy and maybe "The Descent", i hope they would all fit on a 4GB iPhone along with about 300 songs...:rolleyes:
 
I have a ton of TV Shows (The Office, South Park, Entourage etc.) that I really want to put onto the iPhone but they are all .avi and I can't really find a decent program to convert them to an acceptable format. Any suggestions. Also should I use .mp4 or h.264?
 
i know theres a program called isquint (im pretty sure thats the name) and it is used to convert movie to ipod format. that should work for the iphone, because they are compatible with the same formats. as for which format, i have no idea
 
Visual Hub looks pretty sweet. I hope it converts decently quick. I'll get a chance to check it out after work today. Any ideas what the best codec to use is though?
 
My workout music (consisting of heavy metal and hip-hop), and a few movies: Armaggedon, Pirates, and one good chick flick just in case one of the lady friends care to see oggle at my phone when they're bored, they do that too much here in the bay area.
 
for importing dvd's you should use handbrake. it will rip dvds straight to mp4 and it works very easily. you can do whole movies or just certain chapters

isquint wont take dvds to itunes, but mediafork will...

go to www.macupdate.com and search for mediafork.. that will rip from dvd to h.264(use that codec)... isquint will just do files that are already on your computer... isquint works great for .avi files...

that probably sounds like a dumb question tho
 
Music wise, I need some of The Doors and Type O Negative. Beyond that, whatever I am in the mood for. A mix of a lot of different things.

TV Shows:
Futurama and Family guy ... then I will have another show that I will cycle through, pretty much most of the Adult Swim line up.

Movies:
Terminator 2 will always be on it
Then a slot for a movie that I will cycle in and out.

Pictures:
Most recent 2 rolls or so

That should be enough to fill it.

Zoolander and Congo, the two movies i actually bought from iTunes.

(I'm still not sure why I bought Congo)
