my small dog was referred to as a bruiser, being oversized for the breed...i was told when i bought him, he would be 8 lbs. but he is almost twice that

so yesterday, i came up with kimbo slice

...what are your pet names for your pet?

I am going to regret saying this for the fear of being criticized for being crazy but here it goes.

My old dog Max had quite a few names... (German Shephard Yellow Lab Mut)
- Dorian
- Velvetah
- Gary
- Dorian Antanozgaryson Señor Senior
- Cheryl
- Poochqua
- Jaques Pulet
- Nancy
- Nancy Jean
- Max Nancy
- Maxime
- Maximus

(and he responded to all of them)

My new dog Phoebe (Black Lab)
- Karen
- Sharon
- Sandy
- Shandy
- Weebs
- Phoebeweeby
- Phoebestress
- Phoebster
- Kendra
- Kwaneese

(and she only responds to Phoebe and Sandy)

I have a white husky (well, husky mix) named Caleb.

He's got two nicknames, Pickle and Noodle, which he responds to. Noodle came about since it describes his personality (he's actually a very sweet dog as dogs go and very easy-going); and Pickle happened by chance when I was getting the pickles from the 'fridge and he responded to the word 'pickle' during the course of a conversation with my family. Out of them all, he prefers Pickle the most.

haha i like this topic

My dog's name is Oscar.....but sometimes we call him chowder...like chowder head...cause he does some goofy things lol

I have a 1 year old golden retriever named Brady, but my girlfriend and I call him any one of the following:

Bradly
Bradford
Brad
Big Bad Brad
Bwad
Rad
Tad
Brady Brown
or just...B

Responds to them all...

I have a three year old Australian Shepherd. Her name is Darby, but she has her fair share of nicknames

Darby Dog
Darby Duck (She loves to swim)
Darbs
The Darbaroony
Darbski

The all incorporate her name in there for the most part. A nickname that survived from my old dog is 'the poopster'. They were both the kind of dogs that if they aren't going 100% they're asleep. Hence, being pooped out.

I have a dog name Maile (My-Lee; its Hawaiian). I also call her Miles, puppy, and dog. Sometimes bitch if I am mad at her. :D

I have a cat name Mittens. I also call her Mitts and kitty.

I have a cat name Yankee. I also call him Yanks, Yanky-Doodle, and cat.

My cat is called Decoy (see KillFrog.com for reference)

I call him :

Stupid
Purrbucket
Fuzzy Bunny
Furry Face
Fat Cat
Dumb One
Mrrfff

Actual cat name = Gizmo. But we call her

Cat Face
Furball
Gizmeister General
Fluffy
Bird Terrorist
Mousinator
Psycho
Madam
Noisy

usually prefixed with 'Oi'

:)
(good call on the next post - this thread needs pics)

My parents had a dog called Tiny (small, black crossbreed) named after a similar looking dog my mum used to have. I didn't see her much, I think Tiny died when I was about 4 or so.
Deek, an alsation.
Now we've got Muffy! Who looks similar to Tiny again. That's all I call her really, that and stupid dog (she barks at herself in the mirror).

Had a tropical fish tank, full of fish with names like Comet, Sonic and that usual jazz.

We have two cats, both of which get called Sausage or Fuzzy Feet from time to time.

Misty answers to Sssti and Amber answers to Per (said softly).

My dog Fester has become Vista, because he is unresponsive and crashes whenever he wants. His speech recognition is terrible and he also doesnt like it when I plug in the external USB drive. :D

My dog's name is Oscar.....but sometimes we call him chowder...like chowder head...cause he does some goofy things lol
Our cat's name is Oscar, but we have so many nicknames for him that I couldn't even tell you all of them. That, and it would be a little embarrassing.

my cat's name is Zeppelin, among his nicknames are:

zep
kitty
baby kitty
dumb***
fuzzbucket

are the most used, some other random names are used when he is misbehaving.
