Over at c|net Chris Matyszczyk decides to write a piece all based off of one comment from John Gruber: "The problem isn't that Apple is bleeding talent, the problem is that they could".
Wow, stop the presses! People might leave Apple to go do other things. And lets write a story about it because it neatly feeds into the FUD and D&G meme surrounding Apple these days. Never mind that we're not talking about people actually leaving, just that some could do so in the future. And even though we know this doesn't just apply to Apple lets make sure Apple is in the headline so we get more clicks and ad revenue.
I'm longing for the day when tech sites are not about click bait and creating flame wars (to increase clicks). I think the Verge and ArsTechnica are trying to get there but it seems we have a long way to go. And even on those sites the comments sections are full of trolling rather than good debate and interesting discussions. Sigh.
