2.4 macbook pro

???????:confused:??????

i just dont know which one to buy.
i love the huge imac screen and i
love the potability of the macbook pro

my brain is gonna :eek: explode

Same chipset, same ram, Same Processor. It's all personal, would you rather game at your desk, or in your bed?

The MBP has a superior gpx card on paper but drivers for OSX might make that point moot.

theres not much in it, i say, get an iMac; its cheaper, it has a bigger hard drive (more games) and an amazing screen; i just upgraded from a MBP to a 20" iMac, and gaming is really amazing (and thats with just 1gb of ram)

They are about the same... MBP is probably a bit faster.

The real question is do you need portability or a much bigger (and higher quality) screen?

let me tell you.......
i have nfs pro street and crysis.......
they both look F.. AWESOME! in my imac 20" 4gb of ram, 2,4 !

if you like gaming! get the imac

Ok.. wha? Crysis? iMac?! Really? That's awesome. I was excited enough to get a n iMac just for World of Warcraft, but this is a bonus. Next year can't come soon enough!! :D

Do MBPs have 7200 RPM drives by default? checking..Nope, only as an upgrade.

I'd say the iMac would be faster for most things then.

Now, the iMac has a bigger display, so that takes more graphic power though.

I don't think the display size itself really matters, does it? I could run 800x600 on a 17" screen and a 42" screen and they'd both be the same. Now at 1280x1024 and higher, where your pushing more pixels on the screen, then I can see the need for more processing power / memory.
