Well, I know of one, but it costs $742.01, so it is outside your price range. /s

Seriously, how dis you come up with a price range ending at $742?

My guess is that they added 6% sales tax to a $700 phone...

CA sales taxs is 8%

Lol, there goes my theory...I live in PA and we have 6% sales tax, so 700*1.06 =$742. I tried, haha.

Edit: After thinking about it $742*1.08 is a little over $800, so maybe you are not trying to go over 800 after tax...me and my theories haha.

Had the LG G3, HTC One M8, and Galaxy S5. The S5 is the best in terms of features, but HTC is the best in terms of stability. The LG G3 is overrated. Ugly UI, bad screen, double texts, etc. I replaced my S5 10 times. My M8 had a bad LED notification light + the camera MP is not super high and efficient. Droid Turbo, iPhone 6, or Moto X from that list: Droid Turbo. Best speced phone and it's only $600.

First thing that came to my mind was the Note 4 since the T-Mo version is only $700 before tax but after tax and unlocking it it would be around $800.

The S5 is a solid choice and I'd take it over the G3 if price is no object. The G3 is good if you want to go cheap since you can get it at Frys for $480 right now if you have a Frys near you. And I honestly don't think it's that bad. The oversharpening is a little annoying but it's been smooth for me and the knock code feature is pretty neat.

Another option if you want to save money: Buy an invite for $15 or so on eBay and get a $349 OnePlus One (64GB). Get a $10 case and you're out about $375.

I would go the new Moto X. I have the current one and it's the best phone I have ever had even though probably one of the cheapest.

Ticks all the little boxes I want in a phone, although I would like to check out the new one as wouldnt mind a bigger screen again.

I currently have a nexus 5 and the iphone 6. I actually am enjoying the iphone more than the n5 running lollipop. It is scary how similar lollipop and materail design looks to IOS.

Do you want a better phone or a better media consumption device? If you want the latter, the nexus 6 will probably serve you best. If you want a better phone I think the iphone 6 will serve you better.

well the good news is that is something you will notice and apple would replace, no questions asked. I am having a flawless experience on 8.1.1
