Setup is power book G4, 15.2 and Win98se, PC100, III600mhz. What photo editor works w/both setups?

Umm... Gimp? Photoshop?

The thing is that there is no single piece of software that will work on both systems- the reason for this is that they are running DIFFERENT OPERATING SYSTEMS. This means that Photoshop/Gimp for mac, will not run on a PC, period. You can get both versions, PC and Mac, of both softwares, and run them, but no single piece of software will run on both.

My advice is get Gimp- it's free, and it requires less resources than PS.

Go with Gimp, since it is free, otherwise you would have to buy two licenses of photoshop, if it will even run on your PC.

can I transfer pics from one to the other?

Will I be able to transfer photos between PC and Power Book? If I were running
linux would that make it easier? My PC is dual boot: Win98se and Slackware.
