what program to split mp3?

Okay i'm once again frustrated with this situation...how can i split my mp3s? any program that will do it?
i just want certain parts of the song...i wanna cut the parts that i don't want away..

You can also use the QuickTime player for this. Just drag the markers to select a portion and choose "Trim to selection" from the menu.
Although you'll need to upgrade to QT Pro for this i think.

That mp3Trimmer looks like a good solution to me,
However, if you are also looking for a good all-round audio editor, give Audacity a try. It's free!

I've heard a lot about Audacity and will be getting that when I get my iBook..

Does anyone know if Cool Edit Pro runs on the mac??

Cool Edit Pro is a PC-only app.

The MP3 Trimmer looks cool...i'll try it though...however, i tried this just now, Amadeus II...
