I'll be upgrading my devices this year and one combination I'm considering is a Mac Mini and 13" iPP as its primary display using Luna; I understand that slower wifi has more of a lag. I'm used to my 2014 13" MBP and the 1680x1050 "Scaled for more space" setting. What are the display options on the 13" iPP used as a MM's primary display?

Pixel-perfect 1366×1024 in HiDPI and native 2732×2048. No higher-than-native scaling modes. And lower-than-native modes don't use HiDPI assets. In other words: they look like crap.

Is that correct? LunaDisplay isn't DisplayLink. The Mac sees the LunaDisplay as a real display. So it should be able to do any mode or you can create modes with SwitchResX. The question is, what does LunaDisplay transmit? It definitely must be compressed...

That's correct and a good point. I was talking about what you get out of the box. When I had my Luna Display it never occurred to me to play with SwitchResX.

The Luna Display device probably has its own EDID. I wonder if it has info from the destination display's EDID? It could be a modified EDID or completely distinct.
There may be limits to the size that Luna Display will transmit.
