I just received my Bullstrap Terra. It´s a beautiful strap, but I´m not impressed with the adapters. They are sticking out from the watch. Just 1 - 2 mm, and I assume no one but me notices. But it´s kind of annoying to me, and I can´t keep my eyes from catching that unprecise machining.

So I am thinking about replacing them. But which ones are the best made out there? Are the ones from Clockwork synergy top of the pops, or are there others I should take a closer look at?

Price is really not important, it´s not like they're made of pure gold. :)

I also found this with my Bullstrap. I also found the adaptors where a little loose and moved about also.

I had a set of unused ones I previously got from eBay and swapped the originals out with them and they are near perfect. Well I'm comparison anyway.

The no names on eBay have been hit or miss for me. Some are very good fit, but have issues with the retention pin (or whatever it is called) and others are loose but the pin is good. I have a couple Clockwork Synergy spring bar sets and they are the best. I like the spring bars ones myself. I prefer not to fool with the small screws, locktite etc. These just work. They offer all the colors and I think (not 100% sure) are available on amazon too? Price is not as good as eBay but they stand behind their products and have great customer support. You get what you pay for. No connection with them, just a satisfied customer.

Thank you for the information. I´ve just placed an order with Clockwork Synergy. :)

I was going to suggest Clockwork as well! Sorry got caught up. Spring adapters is the way to go.

If the band was 22mm then it's a little tougher to find which is why I asked :)

If money no object, then why not buy a USED APPLE classic buckle band on eBay and then reusing lugs with your new band?

Just checking....but you can buy just the adapters form Clockwork Synergy and then attach whatever strap you like via spring bars??

Wow, that would be awesome to fit a dive strap on the watch (IMHO)!!

Oh thank you so much for that info!!!

I am assuming I would go for the ones that allow 22mm straps for my 42mm Nike. Then I could just switch out bands like my other watches correct?

They have two sizes. An adapter that fits up to 24 mm, and an adapter that fits up to 22 mm. The one that isn't label 22 mm, is for bands up to 24 mm :)

Why are you making the unnecessary assertion that "Money was no object"? The OP already switched the lugs and is content with the change, so the OP doesn't need to purchase a USED APPLE classic buckle band if the lugs ARE near perfect as clearly stated.

No. Wrong.... answer Again Thai. You quoted @d_c53tes in Post #8 (Reference His original Post #4). I quoted YOU in response to d_c53tes To Post #8. But Thanks for the attempted clarification. Let me know if you have any questions.

I have two straps from Clockwork, a gentlemens collection and a nato, both are top notch straps and have the best adapters I've seen.

Wish you could purchase the Apple ones individually
Apple sells their own lugs for 3rd parties to use, but you have to buy them in minimum sets of 25, which is about $300

Maybe someone on here could buy them and sell them for $15? Yeah didn't think so... :(
