What scaled display setting do you use on 5K iMac?

Just curious what everyone is using out there? I've had my iMac for about a day now and I've been using the default choice. What are you all using?

The default seems to be OK for me, but I worry about others in my family who might find this kind of small. I guess they can log into their profile and use whatever setting they prefer...

I use the default setting.

I use the default. Occasionally, I find that setting things to 5280x2880 helps coerce certain websites into displaying higher resolution graphics.
Now, if only I could get Java on Windows to respect my choices.

Surely you mean 5120x2880? Are you using SwitchResX for that?

I can understand that worry. Although if they can make due with the non-retina 27", the retina one on default should actually be easier to read thanks to the increased sharpness. But yeah, the nice thing is the ability to make on-screen elements bigger without losing too much sharpness (I think the sharpness still beats the 2013 iMac which helps with text and things like that).

The default. Anything else (except 5120x2880, which I find far too small) and you're just defeating the point of buying a 5K iMac in the first place (sharpest image quality).

The text is just as crisp as at the default but it gives me a bit more real estate

I keep mine at default...until iTunes releases some above 1080P films, other than working on editing in various apps for more space, default looks great.

I wouldn't say defeats it, with it being retina, even the smaller resolutions are clearer and easier on the eyes then some of the older iMacs where its a bit grainy and less than pleasing. Though I see what you are getting at.

The default. Unless I'm screen sharing with my 15" rMBP, in that case everything is too small so I use the largest 'Scaled' option.

What I do is when a page is open is just go to View then press option key and just go to "make type bigger" and just click once or twice to get size that is easier to read.
