what SD reader to buy?

I bought a new Imac 2l inch recently. I like to transfer photos from digital camera to IPhoto. I have SanDisk SD card.

Which SD reader would be best and can be compatible with Imac?

if you have one of the latest iMacs, there should be an SD card reader built into the side under the Disc drive. this applies to the 21" and the 27" iMacs.

do i just put in slot on the side of the Imac and then it would automatically dowload to IPhoto? and then how do i eject SD reader out?

I just bought Imac this past friday

it should pop up as a disk on the desktop, you can drag your photos to iphoto from there. to eject it you just drag the desktop icon to the trash and it will disappear from the desktop and you can safely remove it.
