Hi Everybody!
We'd like to open a new department for web site design, but I know nothing about PRO graphics software. Can you tell me what software to choose and what it will cost me?
Thanks in advance for your help!
Illustrator and Photoshop are truely pro level but if you are a little on the cash conscience side you could probably pick up a copy of Fireworks on the cheaper side. It is an application that is made only for building web graphics. It can even generate code for you. It slick and has a pretty gentle learning curve.
My vote is for Fireworks- its easier to use then Imageready or Photoshop, and more web oriented. Plus if your department ever wants to use Flash, you've got an ideal app to compliment it.
