What software to load???

If all goes as planned, hoping my wife's "on order" IMac 21.5" 3.2 1 TB system will arrive before Aug 20. Delivery states between Aug 12 - 16. Only time will tell... Being new to iMacs, what software do you recommend?

For example:

Handbrake fyi, is not a DVD Burning utility..it encodes DVDs to work with iTunes & other mobile devices (iPod, iPhone, iPad, cell phones other video players, etc).

Honestly I dont really think its necessary for all these System optimizers, as the OS itself is pretty reliable enough to take care of itself.
But thats just my opinion and experience.

In addition to having Time Machine running, get SuperDuper (or if you like CarbonCopyCloner) to do a bootable back up of your system.
