I activated my new iPhone 13 Pro Max earlier today. Why is it offering me a software update?

It shows I'm on iOS 15, yet there is an iOS update available.

It doesn't appear to have a new version number. It looks like it will still be iOS 15 after I update.

I think that has to do with "this update provides important security updates and fixes an issue where widgets may revert to their default settings after restoring from a backup."

Its for new iPhone 13 owners

The official public release is a slightly newer build than the one delivered with the first batch of the iPhones 13.

What is the build number of the version the iPhone 13 Series are currently shipped with?

The update mention should bring them to build 19A346.
