I'm coming from a 64 GB iPhone 11 Pro. When I bought this, I was using about 20 GB of storage and thought I was riding high on life.

Here I am, 4 years late. Almost all my apps are offloaded. I have to download pictures and files from the cloud if I ever need to use them. And I can feel an overall slowness as it moves files around.

I'm probably going to keep my next iPhone for another 4 years. Should I try the 128 GB or spring for 256?

I know this is a few months early but I started thinking about this today.

When iPhone 16 releases, hope that the base storage would be 256GB. 128GB is too little now a days unless you have all your photos and videos in the cloud. So, go for 256.

If you have large storage needs and use your phone a lot for work and entertainment, choosing a large storage capacity like 256GB or 1BGB can be a wise decision, especially when considering continue to use iPhone for long periods of time.

Apple just patted themselves on the back for 128GB. It'll probably be a few years more before 256GB is base.
