I did a quick test and posted it on my blog. I took a picture of an outback gift card that happen to be sitting on my desk and not that great of lighting and it was still able to figure it out. So I'm pretty impressed and would probably spend a few bucks on this as I am a web designer, but since it's free it makes it even better! :D


Attached a couple pictures below from my mini review. You can see the quality of the pics is actually not even as good as the iPhone camera can be if there is better lighting, but WhatTheFont still was able to get it.

This app worked perfectly. It found the font used on the cover of a book. It worked 1st try.
