what the heck is this button?!

This gray arrow button appears when I select a paragraph in macOS, and then the box shown here appears when I click the text. I know it's a 'feature' but I want to turn it off, it's always interfering with my work, but I don't know where it originates. Is it from macOS, or from 2do app? Can someone please help me?

I think you answered your own question that it’s from the 2Do app.

Go into the System Preferences and choose Keyboard, and then under Shortcuts see if you can turn off the service for that.
