(probably very obvious to many of us here)

Most if not all the reports about the SE's demise is how Apple is making the IP7 the new 'budget' phone. Yes, it may be the lower-priced one at the moment and thus worthy of the moniker, but I suspect most of the people screaming about the SE's demise (including me) are not interested in the 'budget' aspect ... we simply don't want a flippin' micro-tablet in our pockets, we want a lower-sized one. It's not just about cost!

Sadly, that aspect seems to be lost in much of the MSM tech reporting this week. Just sayin' :(

Yes, it's not about price it's about form and design. I have an 8 Plus and it's a great device too, but I prefer to carry my SE around with me. I will pay a good price for an updated SE, that is not the issue. I wish the boobies in the media would finally understand that instead of insinuating that we all want cheap iPhones.

We want an updated iPhone SE because that is the form and design that we prefer. How hard is that for them to understand?

They don't care about what you or customers in general want. They've proven it multiple times: 3.5mm jack, Touch ID, etc. As long as they keep or increase their profits...
