So I've never used a Mac ...
so when I get one..

What program do you guys use to convert videos
from a camera (mines Canon if that matters)
to be able to be played from your iPod??

Because i have some stocked up on my camera SD
and have not been able to fit them on my PC with
about 200 MB of free space

all help appreciated :)

iMovie will work.

You can upload your videos, even edit them in iMovie and then export them in various formats, ie. iPod or iPhone.

ok if iMovie works then ill use it

handbrake website looks non-trust able and since
iMovie comes with the computer
its less hastle and it can edit and no need to download or install

I've never sued iMovie so i did not know
thanks

are you serious?

can anyone else back it up?
why does the site look so
un-legitimate though?

I use Handbrake all the time for digitizing my DVD's.

I thought iMovie would better suit your needs seeing as you may want to edit footage, etc.

Handbrake will let you convert to iPod or iPhone specific formats. It'll work great for you assuming you don't want any editing to be done.

That being said, if its an AVCHD camcorder, you'll have to use iMovie to import, then you can export as before.

It's true, but it look shady because its top use is to copy DVDs by bypassing their DRM security.

Start with iMovie. If that is too tricky to learn, you might look into quicktime. I believe that it has very simple video import capabilities. Good luck.
