well i have a 3g and a 2g, my 3g is activated with at&t but my 2g is jb, i used the same laptop to sync my 3g but i want to sync my jb/unlocked 2g so i can put it to use as an ipod is there a way that i can sync my 2g?

You can sync both iPhones on the same computer regardless of whether one is jailbroken or not. By jailbroken do you mean it is unlocked running on a different network, other than AT&T?

well im conected to itunes with my 2g and its not connected to any other network, but when im about to sync i just get the menu "set up your iphone" and it says an iphone has been prviously snyc to the laptop and i have 2 choices either to set up as a new iphone or to start fresh from a back up. what to do?
