I'm writing an app that runs in fullscreen mode. It's still in it's beginning phases and crashes quite often. When it crashes it won't exit out of fullscreen mode and i can't quit out of the app. The app screen just freezes and stays in fullscreen mode. I can't force quit the app, can't switch between desktops, the only thing I am able to do is force shut down my computer. I would prefer not to do this everytime there is an error in my app. Any suggestions?

How are you getting it to go full screen? With the button in the top right corner? Or using some low level drawing routines of some sort?

I am calling enterFullscreen:WithOptions on an nsview

If you set up one of the corners to show the desktop, via hot corners, you might be able to select the finder from there by clicking on the desktop and then select force quit from there. I've done that when some full screen apps freeze. Not sure if it will work for you though.
