I love my jailbroken phone, but of course, every time there's a new update, the jailbreak and all my themes are wiped. I then have to spend days/weeks re-tweaking system files & re-downloading all my themes, and I'm getting sick of it. Surely there has to be some way to restore all my themes and system files exactly how I had them? Some sort of backup feature? +

I've found a cydia tweak called "AptBackup" but that just remembers what themes you had, and re-downloads them - and doesn't even save their settings!

There has to be some way to get around this - I'm dreading the IOS5 update, because I really want its new features, but as I've edited a lot of system files, it'll mean hours and hours of retweaking stuff I've already done. :(

Thanks!

i would wait for the official release. i say that because since we have had 7 betas, it does take time to re do everything. i would wait for the release in a couple weeks and then jailbreak the official 5.0 software. gl.
