I have two iMacs and a MacMini. I no longer have any use for the Mini which has a great 22" monitor connected to it.

The processor in the Mini is a CoreDuo, not Core-2-Duo, so it doesn't have a lot of processing power. The HD is 60GB.
The computer is about 4 years old, but it has very few hours on it; so it is in excellent condition.

Is there anything creative that can be done with this little box ? I am reluctant just to give it away or, worse yet, throw it out.

Thanks for any suggestions you might have.

You could sell it. It's probably not worth a ton, but I'm sure someone with basic computing needs could get some use out of it.

If you have any need for a server, be that a media, web, FTP etc server, the Mini would be perfect for that. It doesn't have much storage but you can easily attach external HDs to it. Mini is small and silent and doesn't even require a display so for server purposes, it's ideal.
