I recently upgraded a few months ago to my new iMac 2.93 and I love it. Most people say that computers last 3-5 years but not when your doing photoshop and Final cut etc. My question is what should I do with the old iMac? I currently have it setup next to my new iMac and have them connected with teleport so that I don't have to have 2 keyboards and mice. I recently re-installed tiger and it had gained back much of the speed it had lost over the last 3 years. I've never really had a second desktop so I don't know what to do with this one and I can't sell it because it is technically my Dads and he thinks that he might use it again sometime although he hasn't touched it for about a year and a half. What do people normally do with their old desktops? Any suggestions would be great.

I use mine with a tv tuner and a great pair of speakers (Audio engins A2's) in the kitchen. (Kitchen Mac!). Its basically a tv and radio, with the ability to stream your itunes libaery, and wack on some itunes radio streams.
Its up to you but tv is what I mainly use my desktops for, killer feature! Eyetv :)
