Well I got my MacBook Pro so I really have no need for my Mini anymore and dont' know what to do with it. The harddrive in it was bad so I replaced it with the only one I had around which was a 5400 RPM 30 gig so with that and with the New Intel Minis out I dont know what it would be worth if anything if I try to sell it. If its not worth selling are there any neat ideas any one has that I can use it for. I know that many are using the new Intel Minis as media centers.

if you search ebay for closed auctions for your particularly model of macs. after that average all the finished auction and that will be fair market value of the mac. that will be a very good indicator of what the mac is worth.

You can still use your G4 based mac mini as a media centre, problem is you wont be able to do HD content, and im not sure if you will be able to use frontrow (radeon 9000 not support I think). But check something like media central. You will be able to stream most of your content to the mini.

Alternative is a backup server or something, but the "small" HDD might get in the way of that idea.
