Hi everyone,
I am planning to buy the Airpods as soon as a new version comes out. So far I am using BeatsX, which you can just hang around your neck while not using it.

I was wondering how you handle that with the Airpods, especially when you are e.g. in the gym. Do you always carry around the case or do you leave it in your bag?

Thanks in advance for the feedback

I like the AirPods, but find them lousy at the gym. Complete absence of noise isolation means all the godawful racket of noise from the gym music overpowers them. Be fine at a silent gym I suppose.

They fit perfectly in the coin pocket of jeans.

I use them at the gym all the time, such a great product. I leave the case in my gym bag or sweat pants pocket

I leave the case in the car, set my volume to 88% & wear them the whole time I’m at gym. The music at my gym’s moderately loud, but 88% volume drowns it out.

They’re brilliant for gym workouts.

Fair enough.

I still have good hearing fortunately, but find them very subpar in noisy environments.

i keep the case in a locker with my gymbag- no need to have it on you once they are synced to your phone

I use silicon ear hooks when I do workouts with my AirPods, they work great to keep them in place while I run or do HIIT exercises. I also leave the case at home or in my car. Most of the time I just use the music on my Apple Watch so my phone stays home too. I personally like hearing some of the ambient noise so that I'm not startled by people, bikes, cars, etc.
