Im planning to also be able to watch TV on my iMac when I get it.

Can anyone recommend or advise me as to what to get. I dont want to spend to much for features that I might not need.

Im in the UK if that helps or makes a difference.

Thanks

hi there, i recently purchased a elgato tv ez for my mac mini and have never looked back. quality i excellent about half screen size and at full screen it's just as good. maybe i will tweak with the aireal as that is important. the tv ez if about the same size as the ipod video in width and about 4 times as deep. one thing you will need to ask yourself is are you going to want to watch freeview, if so you may need to go to freeview's website and check. if you are then you can look at dtt products. if not then you will have to look for analog products. elgato make a wide variety of products so it worth checking them out.

I have had a eye tv DTT for freeview and it is great. costs about 89 british pounds. You do need a good signal though. There was a fair discussion on this product recently so do a quick search.

As for being in the UK, well, so am I so that does not matter (to me anyhow).

happy macing
