I have a Powerbook G4 with a Superdrive. I need to get some more blank DVDs. I have been using DVD-R 4X (Ridata), but I cannot seem to find them anymore.

Can I use 8X? Also, even if 8X would work, is it best to stick with 4X?

Thanks in advance.

I've heard really good things about Taiyo Yuden DVD media. I just ordered a 100 pack from http://www.supermediastore.com//dvdmedia.html. I read in a coule places about newegg not selling authentic Yuden media, so be a little wary about that, but I haven't had any bad luck myself, just something to keep in mind I guess.

good luck!

Yep. Another thumbs up, way up, for Taiyo Yuden. I get them from my local DVD supplier since you can't find these at Future Shop or Best Buy.

Not one single faulty disc of the hundreds and hundreds that I've burned over the last 2 years.
