I've been reading about people who have bad batteries and I look at my iphone. I use it about 3.5 hours a day and have it on standby for about 11 hours or so and it always says it has 15-20% of life left. I always have to charge it for hours each night. Is this normal? My speaker also has shut off twice and then started coming back on later. Meaning, I couldn't talk to anyone on the phone nor listen to any music.

I've restored the phone before. As of now, it's working, though apple is sending a box because I called yesterday when the phone was unusable. Do I send it anyway? I live 250 miles from an apple store, so going by there isn't an option. Do I send it off anyway and hope they check it out? The woman on the phone said the audio issues sounded bad, but I didn't mention my battery even though I knew my friends 4GB iPhone lasts almost twice as long as mine does (8GB).

Can I send it in and mention the battery issue as well on the box apple sends?

well i told apple that it was doing that so they are sending a box. at&t wouldn't take it back at all. i hope it gets replaced.

If your doing 3.5 hours of web surfing over edge, those numbers sound about right.

Surfing burns up the energy pretty quickly.

If its just general use, send it back... They have been having battery problems.
