I have a friend that wants to sell his 20" Imac but he doesn't know if it's a Intel process or or what. He purchased it about a year and a half to two years ago. I'm fairly new myself to Macs and don't know what processor it would be. What version of processor was being used then? What would it be worth, it's like new he hardly used it?

Thanks

If he looks at About This Mac... under the Apple menu (top Left) it'll say.

About This Mac Screenshots

Click the Apple Menu, and choose 'About This Mac'

You will see a window similar to the two shown. The reason I've done two is so you can see the differences between a G4 Mac mini and an Intel Core 2 Duo Mac mini.

I've hightlighted where it shows you the processor and speed.

hope this helps

based on those dates, it seems likely that the OP is talking about the core duo intel imac
