Your MBP will auto select which power profile to use. We become picky with the powerbank when you want to fast charge

Do you have a MacBook Pro charger? Look at the markings on it and match that voltage.

no I don't have one
IMHO a MBP 2017 is definitely worth the investment of an original Apple charger....

If you really want to experiment with a powerbank, you could measure the voltage of the charger.
Note that current is much more important than voltage , and can have a direct impact on the performance and expected lifetime of a battery....

Is it possible to charge macbook pro 16 - 2021 model,
with a powebank, using usb-c port?
If yes...
Which are the critical specifications for the powerbank to have?
