The mac model numbers Apple recently registered in the eurasian db are:

A1347 macmini x 4
A1418 21" iMac x 4
A1419 27" iMac x 4
A1481 nMP (trashcan) x 4
A1862 iMac Pro x 4
A1993 **new** with MBP numbering
A2115 **new** starting with A2 is new
A2116 **new** starting with A2 is new
A1466 MB Air x 2
A1534 MacBook x 3
A1708 13" MBP (no-touchbar) x 2
A1932 **new** with MBP numbering
A1989 13" MBP touch x 2
A1990 15" MBP touch x 3

So all 10 existing mac lineup model numbers and 4 new ones. Of the 4 new model numbers, 2 appear to be laptops. The other two, A2115 and A2116 represent the first models to break into A2*. These could be anything and are perhaps closely related ?

It's hard to guess what's coming for the macmini. Could be a simple spec bump in the same design, could be nothing at all. Perhaps the new A2115/6 represents a new modular headless desktop with one covering the promised top end mini and the other a new macPro. Apple could continue selling the old 2014 mini alongside for the cheaper market.

The other new laptop sounding model numbers could be the Air and/or Macbook replacements. Hard to imagine them replacing the MBPs already, although I wouldn't put it past them.

So what do you folks make of these model numbers, does my guesswork work for you ? Would Apple register all these models if some were soon to be ended ?

madmin: Thanks for doing the homework linking the 10 current model numbers to products. It will be interesting to see what the 4 new models turn out to be — particularly the two models that begin with A2.
