I often check the weather app on my mac/iphone/ipad and i notice The rain/storm forecast is SOOO different than whats on weather.com. ( i thought the weather channel is one of the sources for apple weather?)
Like for example i am looking at sundays forecast. Apple weather app says Rain ONLY between 6-7 AM. but weather.com for the same area says sunday is basically scattered thunderstorms on and off all day including evening. Its like two completely different forecasts. When it comes to rainfall, this descrapancy is something i notice on a weekly basis when comparing apple weather and weather.com .
what do y'all trust more?
EDIT: Apple weather is very accurate when its telling me rain in the next 10 minutes or 30 minutes, but when it comes to forcast 1-3 days ahead, its so innacurate i feel

All weather apps get the same data from the National Weather Service. Some allow you to use locally sourced or user provided data but most of the time it’s just how it’s displayed. It’s one of the main reasons paying for a weather app is highly questionable as it has nothing to do with accuracy.

It's raining as I type this, and the Apple Weather app radar image shows the rain, but the app does not show that as the current condition. The hourly forecast shows cloudy for "now" and for the next several hours. I like everything else about the app versus others I've tried, so fingers crossed that current conditions will become more current.

I like weather.gov for forecasting and radar when I am on a computer. If I am on mobile I use the default weather app for forecasting, and for radar I use the paid version of Radar omega.
