What week is ur MBP? Week 30 and later should have less LED issue?

Week 28, here. Got it early July. Yes, the week number is after the 7 in the serial number.

lol...I don't think there is any real significance to this aside from the chance that it could be one way to track the bad batch of screens that was sold when the SR MBPs first came out. Some earlier week builds displayed more "display" issues than those built later on.

Just a guess, so don't take my word for it. Maybe there is something else that I'm not aware of.

mine is from week 31. less issue than the first two machine. but i still can kinda see the overcast down the bottom 1/3...

so less problem, but the problem is still there. people aren't cry as loud as before, like me.

I have a Samsung screen and I do not have any issues at all.

I have a week 31, LG screen. It seems to be perfect; clear, bright, and crisp.

I just bought an MBP, week 31, glossy, Samsung. Looks fine to me. Unfortunately, after all the paranoia on this forum, I keep imagining the bottom of the screen is yellow. But when I look at it carefully, it seems fine. The machine seems very well put together -- I'm quite happy with it so far.

Fine ... it seems they dissolve the screen issue after week 30.

mine was a tint yellow aand find myself looking at the bottem of the screen, I am keeping it, the next one is right around the corner.....think iwas youtoo the macbook.......lol
