Hey Guys,

Just wanted to put the question out there and see what everyone thinks.

Can't wait to hear your thoughts! :D

Note: If your going to go crazy and go over the top just say so we know :D

It will contain much of the same stuff that's in the latest "brick" MacBook. That's because the Mini is basically a notebook computer without an attached keyboard and monitor.

Specifically, the next-gen Mini will have:
* 2.0GHz or 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo cpu
* 802.11n wifi
* NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics
* mini DisplayPort video output
* 8x slot-loading SuperDrive
* etc.

The specs above are almost a no-brainer, IMO. The only surprise might be that it packs a standard 3.5" desktop hard drive instead of the 2.5" notebook drive.

Mark your calendar to come back and check this post after MacWorld, you'll see I was right. :D

What will be in the next Mac Mini? The exact same things as is in the current one. The Mini seems to be a zombie, an unchanging living dead that keeps lumbering along.

Wow, Poetic :)

I think apple will combine the apple tv with the mini to make a home entertainment solution. Complete with DVR capability.

I really dont think they will combine the two.

They certainly wont add a DVR function. Whats the point? "Hmmm, Shall I download <insert tv show> from iTunes and pay for it or record it for free?"

Apple is making a big deal out of Tv Shows etc from iTunes, they wont severely cut their profit by letting you get stuff for free.
