I was wondering what will be your first app download?

MLB 2010 will be mine:)

Has it been confirmed it will be out on launch? Any word on pricing? I don't think it'll be out :-(

Mine will be Big Oven :)

Mine will be Big Oven :)

According to App Shopper site it will be $14.99 and is the only sports app listed as of March 31st.

Pages & Keynote. Won't be bothering with Numbers, but I want to see what these can do! :)

Sketchbook Pro.

Then Netflix, iWork, and some games like Plants vs Zombies and NOVA.

Netflix.

Then Pages, Numbers, Keynote.

Then to talk the kid OUT of wiping out the iTunes balance with "things" she wants..... which isn't going to be easy.

She wants the Scrabble one badly :D

Keynote will probably be my first app downloaded, after I copy over all of my iPod apps that I already have (or rather, a decent subset of them, won't need them all).

Real Racing HD - high res racing
Hova HD - cool FPS
iWorks ( Pages ) - hey, you gotta do some work
Photos Pop HD - nice way to play game and look at photos
Netflix - movies,tv shows, already netflix member
Mondern Combat HD - Another cool action game

USA Today
ABC Player

I'm not going to buy a lot of apps on day one because i think the prices will lower within the coming weeks. They might be a tad bit too high.

I totally agree. I will also use limited funds for the apps right away

Netflix hands down.....

I wonder if Facebook will be developing a ipad version and taking avantage of the new screen real estate?

Can't decide! I'm not counting iBooks, although technically it is a download. But it feels to me more like part of the basic functionality of the device.

Netflix (assuming it's not a really mean April Fool's joke) and Pages would definitely be candidates. Also, there look to be some cool music-related apps that will be available, such as a virtual keyboard based instrument that looks nice. Will the Kindle app be available by the time I get mine (late April)? If so, that would give me immediate access to my Kindle books, so that might be the most practical choice. Hmmm. I can download more than one, right?
