They will add minor upgrades trough their whole line. You couldn't compare the powerpc's to anything else, but now that they use 'normal' cpu's they will have to implement them asap.
So offcourse we will see a new powerpc and a mac mini (too expensive atm for what you get)
Besides that the MBP needs a overhaul, if it wasn't for it's dedicated gpu I would almost say it's inferior to the MB, but carries a much heavier price tag.
So to summarize it:
MB: switch to merom, but maybe they keep yonah and reduce the price with $100 to get rid of them first. Maybe a superdrive in the cheapest one (what $1000+ notebook doesn't have a dvd burner nowadays). This might also eliminate the heat problem since meroms seem to produce less heat compared to a yonah cpu.
MBP: Switch to merom, maybe a 13" model, next ati gpu (maybe x1800?), case redesign (I'm not expecting a huge difference, more along the lines of the ibook/macbook overhaul, so a black metal case and some small changes)
I would personally like to see every apple pc being sold to have a 1gig dimm installed, cause 512mb just isn't going to cut it. Apple's with 512mb are just giving them a bad name if you ask me. I don't mind that much since it's replacable, but still who wants a apple with 512mb?
