So recently someone gave me a link with all the versions of iTunes for windows available for download.
I really want to do some experimenting and plug my 80GB iPod classic into it.
I'm just scared that it may crash my iPod.

Anybody ever do or hear of anything like this?

I saw that other thread where you found the 4.1 version. But my prediction is that it will either do nothing, or it will say that your iPod (if it even detects it) is not compatible with this version of iTunes. Because there is no code programmed into that version of iTunes for the iPod classic because it didn't exist yet. Do it though and let us know what happens I am interested in finding out the outcome. I'd doubt it'd crash anything. For example I think of it as putting a Blu-ray disc in an old cdrw drive, nothing happens or it says it can't read it. :D
