sob, what should I do with my old phone/contract? I've more than a year to go on this cursed contact? And AFAIK, I can't just pop this sim into the new 3G phone - this simcard doesn't allow 3G speed...

if you are on o2, you can transfer to the iphone contract

if you are on another network, you need to either wait till the end, or pay the rest of your remaining contract

oh, I asked in a post before, whether if I stick this sim into a 3G phone, will I get 3G speed or not. And the answer was "no"
But this might not be the same as just 3G voice...if that's what you're referring to?
So, have you tried it? does the current simcard have 3g data speed?
