Does anyone know what happened to the prices of refurbished imacs last time there was a relaunch?

In other words if there's an imac at £1495 today, saving £200, will it still be there (assuming it hasn't sold!) post-launch at the same price, or knocked down further, or just removed from the store?

Of course this is all ridiculous, because who could bring themselves to order such an instantly archaic piece of junk once the lovely new ones are available?!

If I remember, the 2.8GHz 24" iMac dropped from 1799$ (new) to ~1200$ when new ones came in March '09. Of course prices will drop because it's "old" then and Apple wants to get rid of them so that they can have space for new ones

who knows. I know a lot of people still like buying the previous generation Unibody MBP over the current.
