What will happen when the new iMacs/mac minis actually do hit?

On the whole, revision A units are more likely to be worse - but also the posts are only from people with problems, so presumably there are a lot of happy customers!
I think they'll be ok - the case designs will hardly be major and I think its safe to say that desktops are often better than laptops in terms of things that can go wrong!
Problems might be with graphics... but most things can be sorted with a software update.

If I got problems I just return it no matter when I bought it. Usually it works becouse my dad is a layer.

I'm assuming apple is good about ponying up the warranty when it comes to rev A crap.
I usually, I mean always take care of my own return issues. I do not get my parents involved, maybe my spouse but not my "Mommy or Daddy." LOL I just thought that was extremly funny. Plus I am pretty sure that Apple has lawyers that would make your "layer" dad cry. I also found that funny when anyone has a problem with a company they threaten to turn the matter over to their lawyer (note singular) when in fact a company has many lawyers (not plural). Just cracks me up!
Apple will not update the Mac Mini. Their focus should not be on computers that many people tinker around with as hobbies. People in this ^&*@# economy want a complete system not just a box. Less hassle and frugal that way. Eventually the Mini will be EoL'ed just like the G4 Cube. The demand for this kinda of computer is small.
I think only the paranoid avoid revision A products.

And since when is the Mac Mini not a complete system? It has all the bits of a computer you need, except obviously the screen, keyboard and mouse, which Apple can also provide should you wish. The economy is temporary and I don't see any sense in Apple quitting on the Mini at this point, they should probably just produce fewer units.
Finally, the predicted update to the Mac Mini would again be a successful computer for people new to Macs, or people wanting a second computer. The only reason you say its a hobby box is because of the amount of people on Macrumors talking about its use like such, when in fact, the majority of real world users probably use it as a small-box desktop computer.
If the next iMac that hits is a speedbump, it doesn't really follow the Rev. A horror story rules. The majority of the components will be proven so nothing to worry about.

We don't have Apple stores here in Finland so I just go to place where I bought which is normally a normal electronic store and say that it's not working and they give me a new one. They don't know Apple's policy of returnings and so on.
Yeah, I think you might be confused of what "Rev A" means. If there are no changes to the design of the iMac, then these new ones will not be Rev A. They will be Rev C.
What does one have to major in to become a layer? I'm intrigued by this profession. I may take it up as a second career in order to get Apple to do whatever i want.

I don't really think you're going to see a rev A imac anytime soon, they will just update some internal parts like graphics card, and/or CPU but it will be the same core system and design.
as for the Mini who knows if Apple even plans on updating it, if they do then that will certainly be a rev A. But with so many people anxiously waiting for a new Mini I'm sure they will fly off the shelves. If Apple has been working on an update all this time then they've had plenty of time to test it, plus the components will probably be those already in the new laptops.

Take a look at the Top Seller list in the Apple Online Store. What number is the Mac Mini compared to the iMac or MacBook? That's all the sales figures you need. The point is that people want simplicity. Not everyone is tech savvy as me or you. My friend's family was looking to buy a computer when their Dell crapped out. The monitor was broken (backlight) and the keyboard/mouse they threw away because it didn't work well and was really dirty. They wanted to start fresh. A Mac Mini was not what I recommended for them. I said an iMac. Slim package, keyboard/mouse, huge screen, powerful, etc.
Hold on a minute there. What I mean by "complete system" is that you don't have to have existing hardware for the new computer to function. You need the basics: keyboard, mouse, display. Mini has everything BUT the basics. If my mom's Dell tower breaks down one day I would buy a Mini for her, since she only browses internet and she has existing hardware (keyboard, mouse), just need a new system (but not a complete system, just system). A Mini makes a great second computer and I would have purchased one if Apple stuck the nVidia chipset and new processors in them. But I don't need it, and there's not a lot of incentive for me to purchase on in this current economy right this minute. It's [economy] temporary, but it's going to be here for at least a few years, if not more.
One last thing. Apple makes more money with the iMac than a Mini. Not to mention, the iMac is widely known as a family computer. Everything in one box.

I'm not living in caves. You people are. What was your first Mac back in the day? Was it a Cube/Mini or ??? That proves my points even further. The Mac Mini is the same thing/idea as the G4 Cube. In a BETTER economy, the Cube still got axed. In a WORSE economy, I'd expect things to suffer, not prosper. What makes the Mini so much different than the Cube in terms of the idea beind it? Tell me that you Mini fan boys.

Dude, what was your first Mac "back in the day?" Your YouTube page says you're only 15(!), so I'm not sure why you're pretending to be some sort of authority on the subject of "older" Macs, let alone the viability of a cheap Mac during the current state of our economy...
And anyone that thinks the Cube and Mini are similar needs to get their head examined. Do you believe this simply because they are both rectangular prisms?
Also, I happened to be on Amazon earlier looking at the sales ranks for computers, monitors, etc., and the iMac was 37th, while the Mac Mini was only slightly behind at 42nd (I'll admit I was surprised). So obviously not only cave dwellers are interested in purchasing a Mini.
I'm going to do the exact opposite. I have an older G5 PowerMac I was going to replace with an iMac, but because of the economy I'm going to replace it with the new Mac Mini when it comes out and use my existing 23" LCD Cinema display, keyboard and mouse with it.
I'm sorry guys....i've just grown so depressed after the last ramp up for the mac mini and the imac that i'm such a skeptic now that you would have to almost buy a new imac for me and have it plugged in directly in front of me before I would believe that Apple has released a new, updated model.

Updated Mac Mini?
I'm thinking that the new Mini will be even more versatile, with ports added, etc, making the new Mini a prime candidate to serve as the key of a home entertainment system.
